New Teaching Series

Sunday, July 19 we start a new journey through a portion of the book of Jeremiah dealing with the following:

God is the source of life. God is the fountain of life. Because of sin, sometimes we choose to leave the loving God who gives us life. When we do this, we naturally find a substitute to give our attention to. These things that now replace God actually become our god. These gods may seem great to us, but they are actually ‘empty nothings.’ They crack, they break, and they are never as good as the loving God who is our source of life and our fountain of life.
This Sunday our focus will be on Jeremiah 2:11-13 and 14:1-9. We will apply these passages to the Loving God aspect of Generation Church.

Our Small Groups will also be going through Jeremiah during the week. The Small Group discussion guide that will be available Sunday morning will be posted on this blog at the end of this week. You may also come to this blog each day to keep up with the Monday through Friday reading.

Our worship leader this week is Kent Bateman.

We meet in the Ridge View High School CAFETERIA at 10:30 am. (click Directions). Also, remind everyone you invite that the generationchurch sign will be placed at the driveway leading to the cafeteria on Friday afternoon.
